ARIA Takes on the Big Apple

The Association of RI Authors is pleased to announce that several of RI’s top fantasy and science fiction authors will be exhibiting at the 2017 Big Apple Comic Con at the famed and historic Penn Plaza Pavillion (across from Madison Square Garden) in New York City on March 11 & 12.

It has also been announced that  Stan Lee  will be making a special appearance. It’s an amazing opportunity to meet the founder of Marvel comics, creator of the Fantastic Four, X-Men, Thor, Iron Man and  many others. After Disney, Lee has been, perhaps, the greatest influence on the direction and imaginary of popular culture in America the past century.

For over 20 years the Big Apple Comic Con has occupied a unique “boutique” space in NY pop culture. Never corporate owned, it has catered to collectors, artists, and creators, showcasing the masters of the art of the comic book along with aspiring young artists and publishers. The Big Apple Comic Con is the longest-running event of its kind in New York City.

In addition to selling books and meeting fans, ARIA authors will present a special workshop, World Building in Science Fiction and Fantasy: The Essentials. Tickets for the Big Apple ComicCon are available now through TicketLeap. Be sure to use code ART007 to receive a special discount.
