Join science fiction authors and writers Tabitha Lord, John McDaid and K.H. Vaughan at Cranston’s Elephant Room on Thursday, September 24th at 6:30 p.m. for the September edition of “The Lively Literati.” Science Fiction will be this month’s theme, and following presentations from our featured writers, the mic will be opened to the audience to share any style of poetry, prose or short creative work. Admission is free!

The Big E — one of our country’s largest country fairs — will be open from Friday, September 18 and run through Sunday, October 4. If you are one of the 1.4 million people expected to visit, be sure to drop by the Rhode Island Building situated along the “Avenue of the States” where ARIA members will be selling, signing and representing RI’s growing literary scene. A different Rhode Island author will be featured each day. ARIA extends its thanks to the RI Department of Tourism for the invitation and the opportunity.
