It’s RI Author’s Day at The Farmer’s Market

scitfarmersAll season long, The North Scituate Farmer’s Market has welcomed a local author each weekend to join their amazing selection of local farmers and artisans. And now on Saturday, September 5th, you’ll be able to meet over 20 of your favorite local authors at the market all at the same time. Join us! The market is open from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Participating authors include:

August Readings to Feature Romance

livelyaugust2015Romance will be in the air this Thursday (8/27) at “The Lively Literati” at The Elephant Room in Cranston when RI authors Nancy Roy, Amy Patrick and Judith Glynn will join us to read selections from their latest books. And then following our featured writers, it’s your chance to grab our “open mic” and share your own bit of poetry, prose or other short creative work. The fun starts at 6:30 p.m… and admission is free!
