RI Authors to be Featured at Inaugural Mind, Body & Spirit Experience

MBS TICKET BANNERBilled as a landmark event for Rhode Island, the first annual Mind, Body & Spirit Experience will be held on Saturday, November 29 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Warwick. The event will feature premiere presentations, exhibits and speakers joined together to promote and celebrate wholeness and well-being.

Included among the event’s headliners is ARIA member, spiritual medium and author  Roland Comtois along with ARIA member, author and motivational speaker Kurtis Lee Thomas. In addition, authors Mike Squatrito, Joanne Phillips, Dawn Porter and Steven Porter will be on hand to personalize and sell their books.

Join us at November’s “The Lively Literati”


LiteratiNov2014Join the Association of Rhode Island Authors at The Elephant Room at 2170 Broad Street in Cranston for our monthly “Lively Literati” (formerly Poetry Night) on Thursday, November 20th at 6:30 p.m. Admission is free.

This month, the event will showcase the talents of local writers Kristen Calenda, H. Philip West, Jr. and Deborah L. Halliday, who will share samples of their work, followed by an “open mic” where anyone and everyone will be invited to participate.

The Lively Literati continues on December 18 when we will present  Tory McCagg and Kelly Kittel. Additional authors will be added to the line-up soon.
